Philippines entry requirements
Travellers on New Zealand, Australian, US, British, Canadian, German and Japanese passports can visit the Philippines without a visa for up to 30 days. Everyone arriving, including Filipino citizens, registers on the free eTravel system no earlier than 72 hours before arrival.

Yes. Everyone arriving in the Philippines registers, including Filipino citizens.
How long can I stay without a visa?
Up to 30 days on New Zealand, Australian, US, British, Canadian, German and Japanese passports, with proof of a return or onward ticket.
